Whether you're on a strict no-buy or you just want to be more mindful about what you purchase, Pandr gives you the tools to actually finish what you own.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Project Pan?

Project Pan is a movement in the beauty community where people commit to using up the products they already own before buying new ones. The name comes from "hitting pan" — when you use enough of a pressed powder product to see the metal pan underneath. It's about being intentional with what you buy and actually finishing things. Pandr is built to make that process easier and more rewarding.

What products does Pandr support?

Pandr supports skincare, makeup, haircare, body care, and fragrance products. If it lives on your shelf or in your bathroom drawer, Pandr can track it. Our AI recognition works with thousands of brands and products, and we're adding more every week.

How does the dupe detection work?

Pandr analyses the INCI ingredient lists of every product in your stash and identifies shared hero actives — like niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, or retinol. When multiple products share the same key ingredients, Pandr flags them so you can see the overlap. That way, you know whether you really need another vitamin C serum or whether you've already got it covered.

Is Pandr free?

Pandr will have a generous free tier that lets you track your products, see ingredients, and monitor fill levels. We're still finalising our plans, but core tracking features will always be free. Premium features like advanced dupe detection and panning analytics may be part of a paid plan down the road.

How does the AI work?

When you snap a photo of a product, Pandr uses computer vision to identify the brand, product name, and size. It then matches that against our product database to pull in the full ingredient list, hero actives, and functional groups. Fill level estimation uses visual analysis of the product to gauge how much is left. No manual data entry required.

What about my data and privacy?

Your product data is yours. We don't sell your information to brands or advertisers. Product photos are processed for identification and then stored securely. You can export or delete your data at any time. We'll publish a full privacy policy before launch, but the short version is: we're here to help you use your stuff, not to sell you more of it.
